Lehighton is more than just my hometown - it’s where I grew up, where I chose to return, and where I’m raising my two sons, Rowan and Sullivan. As a 2008 graduate of Lehighton Area High School, I know firsthand the impact that strong schools and great teachers can have on a student’s future. After earning my bachelor’s degree in communications from Moravian University in 2012, I worked for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, where I played a key role in the Carbon County Chamber merger. This brought me back home in 2014, after time spent working in Bethlehem and Washington, D.C., where I interned for a congressman and at Stars and Stripes.

During COVID, I returned to Moravian University to earn my MBA, often with my two young sons on my lap. In 2022, I graduated with the highest quality point average in my program, further deepening my expertise in data-driven decision-making and responsible leadership. I teach graduate courses at Moravian University’s School of Professional Studies and Innovation as an adjunct professor, helping to prepare the next generation of professionals with the skills they need to succeed.

I am also pursuing a PhD in Anthropology & Artificial Intelligence, studying how technology, education, and human behavior intersect to shape the future.

My career has been built on leadership, innovation, and problem-solving. I serve as Director of Technology for a Fortune 250 company, where I lead AI-driven solutions that improve business strategy and workforce readiness. As a public speaker and thought leader, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, reinforcing my belief in “Think Global; Act Local”—a mindset that informs my approach to education and leadership.

Beyond my professional work, I am deeply committed to community service and advocacy. I serve as President of my HOA, a mentor for rising LGBTQ professionals through Out in Tech, and a volunteer for Forgotten Felines and Fidos. These experiences have shaped my dedication to collaborative leadership, fiscal responsibility, and advocating for the best interests of the people I serve.

“I am running for Lehighton Area School Board because our schools deserve strong, student-focused leadership. I believe in trusting educators the way we trust doctors with our health - ensuring they have the resources, autonomy, and support needed to do what they do best. I will advocate for fiscal responsibility, transparency, and smart decision-making that puts students first.”

I ask for your support as we work together to ensure Lehighton’s schools remain a place where students thrive, teachers feel valued, and our community stays strong.
